Reminder: Satellite Dishes and Antennae Guidelines

Section XV of the Architectural Guidelines: PRE-APPROVED ITEMS

1. It is recommended that satellite dishes and antennae be placed in a location on the rear one third of the house (i.e. tucked behind the chimney) where good reception can be received.

2. If the only location in which good reception can be received is toward the front of the house, the face of the satellite dish and antennae mounting unit/brackets and cable wire are to be painted to match the adjacent surface of the dwelling.

3. Regardless of location, the cable wire will not be permitted to hang free from the roof or any other portion of the dwelling. The cable should be placed along the weep screed or tucked in along the eaves to minimize visibility.

It is highly recommended that the installer provide 2 to 3 locations where reception can be received prior to installation. IMPORTANT NOTE: Sub-Association homeowners must obtain approval from their Sub-Association prior to installation. The Sub-Association may have more restrictive conditions for satellite dishes and antennae approval.

Budget and Finance Committee Opening:
Do numbers fascinate you? Do you have experience in financial management? Talega has recently implemented a Budget and Finance committee and would love your input. This committee consists of five homeowners from various neighborhoods in Talega, appointed by the Board. The committee meets monthly for two (2) hours, in the evening on the last Thursday of the month and assists in developing the annual budget as well as monitoring and reporting to the Board on the financial performance of the corporation. Design Review Committee Opening:
